WWC159 - Marsha's "All About Christmas" Challenge

Woo Hoo!  Marsha is hosting our popular "All About Christmas" challenge this week.  Time to begin working on those Christmas cards that you know you don't want to have to make at the last minute.  And do we ever have some inspiration for you!

Before we begin with the challenge, however, we have some bad news and some good news to share.  The bad news is that we are losing Judy Markowitz who is needed at home because of family health issues.  We will miss her creativity and happy presence.

The good news is that we are welcoming Tenia Nelson to our group of Watercooler Artists.  Tenia hails from Denver, Colorado and we've been wowed by her edgy and eye-catching creations in previous challenges.

WWC158 - The Winners!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's time to announce the Rock Star and Rockers for Helen's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank everyone who played along with us.  The entries this week were fantastic and many!  You are making it harder and harder on us to make our choices as we think you are all stars.  Well done to all.

Helen's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Gerrina's beautiful storms and trees design.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Helen's Winner:  Gerrina has created such a beautifully peaceful watercolour scene. The wonderful colours continue onto her background piece.

Congratulations, Gerrina!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Now it's on to the Watercooler Artists choices for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Kath's Choice:  I love the rustic feel of this card.

Penny's Choice:  I'm really impressed with the board skater's image and the way Robyn used the foam to stamp and create the illusion of movement on the wall. Awesome card.

Gail's Choice:  The acrylic ink background is stunning and the die cut music notes are the perfect accent.

Judy's Choice:  The coloring of the image is fabulous and I love all the technique in the background as well!

Marsha's Choice:  I love the clean and simple design of Angie's card.  The dandelion silhouettes are just the right touch to keep from losing the effectiveness of the subtle plaid background.  All of her thank you card designs are well done.

Heidi's Choice:  The odd shape of the fluorescent bulb really lends itself beautifully to Helen's zendoodling. I love the way she's shifted background colours within the image to emphasise the three portions of the bulb. And that sentiment—perfect.

Charlotte's Choice:  The watercolour background is just perfect behind that fabulous boat image. The twine and wheels finish off the design beautifully.

Congratulations Trina, Robyn, Christine, Chris, Angie, Helen and Ellie.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

There you have our Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers lineup for this week!  Be sure to come back tomorrow, February 28th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss out on all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.

Charlotte's Choice:  I love the ombre feather. It provides a great pop of colour on a wonderfully CAS card.

Helen's Choice:  Sue made a lovely, soft CAS card. Very feminine with beautiful watercoloured flowers.
