WCC27 -- Jackie's Iris Twist Challenge

Welcome to our new challenge.  This one is brought to you by Jackie Susnik, a long-term member of the Watercooler Artists.  Jackie has put together a terrific special fold challenge for us.  The fold we're using is the Iris Fold (or variation of it).  Our sample photo captured Shelli Gardner's presentation of a new, easy twist to the Iris Fold.

One thing that you'll notice right off the bat is that Jackie has added that "variations of the Iris Fold are welcome".  You'll see, when going through the samples posted by the Watercooler Artists, that there are a number of variations and they all look awesome.

To start off Challenge WCC27, here is Jackie's card.  Not only has Jackie created a beautifully coloured iris effect, she has used the wonderful, new Boho Chic embossing folder on everything but the sentiment.  Doesn't the embossing have fantastic impact?  You can find out all the details regarding Jackie's card by clicking on her name, just below her card.  This also applies to the cards presented by the remaining Watercooler Artists.

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

Remember:
          1.  This must be a new project---no back-linking to a previous post.
          2.  You must link your project back to our challenge (details at top of page).
          3.  You must link directly to your post, not simply your general blog.
          4.  Please link to no more than 4 challenges, including ours.
          5.  Have fun!

Please use the link-up below to share your project.  This Linky will close on Friday, July 10th at 7:30 a.m. Mountain Daylight Savings Time.

WCC26 --- The Winner!

We have a unanimous winner for Jean's Colour Challenge.  Her name is Jaylin and, when we went to her blog to check her out, discovered that she has to be our very youngest ever participant, and certainly our very youngest winner.

Congratulations to Jaylin.  Jaylin's card is a beautifully crafted example of CAS (clean and simple).  Her use of white space and careful placement of the raised yellow stars in juxtaposition to the yellow sentiment is perfect.   This card was our first choice before discovering Jaylin's age.  Having discovered it, we are amazed and look forward to seeing more creations by this talented young lady.

This is the Watercooler  Challenge winner's badge.  We invite you to post it proudly on your blog, Jaylin.

Please remember to come back tomorrow (June 28th) for the new challenge and the wonderful creations by the Watercooler Artists.

WCC26 -- Jean's Colour Challenge

Welcome to our new challenge.  This one is brought to you by Jean Fitch, a long-term member of the Watercooler Artists.  Jean has put together a terrific colour challenge for us.  The theme is wide open, but Graduation and Father's Day are still a big deal if you need a starting point.  Here are the colours for our new challenge:
One thing that you'll notice right off the bat is that Jean has added that "similar colors may be used".  If you're using Stampin' Up! colours then you know we have some wonderful blues, yellows and light browns.  If you're using another brand, please try to keep your colours similar to the ones shown.

To start off Challenge WCC26, here is Jean's card, using her wonderful colours.   Don't those hearts along the border look great?  Jean really uses some of the new products in the 2015-16 Annual Catalogue to make an impact, doesn't she?  That new butterfly embossing folder, for example, is stunning.  Just like Jean, you can use white (or very vanilla) in addition to the colours in the challenge.  You can find out all the details regarding Jean's card by clicking on her name, just below her card.  This also applies to the cards presented by the remaining Watercooler Artists.

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

No Winner the week

We stated earlier that we would have a winner if we received 3 or more link-ups to our challenge.  Unfortunately that didn't happen this time but we had two wonderfully creative participants whose cards the whole team of Watercooler Artists enjoyed.  Thanks so much, Sheri and Susie.  We hope you'll join us for the next Watercooler Challenge which will begin on Sunday, June 14th.

We invite you to tell your friends about us so that the minimum of three will be met next time.  In our opinions, however, you are both winners for this challenge.  Thanks for joining us.
